I first found Pilates when I was feeling frustrated getting back into fitness from an injury. I had a bad fall skiing my Senior year of college and injured my shoulders and neck. The type of fitness that I was used to doing made my injuries unbearable. Even walking for a mile aggravated my neck. I truly by chance stumbled upon a Pilates Studio and had no idea what it really was but was intrigued. I signed up for a weekly private session and for the first time in my life I truly felt empowered in my body. I was in awe of all that it was capable of and I felt taller, more relaxed, my neck and shoulders felt better, and I began to develop long, toned muscles. I was hooked-one private session a week soon turned into two and within a year I was signed up for my first teacher training. I completed my Comprehensive Certified Pilates Teacher training through Balanced Body in 2014, have owned my own Studio for four years, and have completed countless hours of continuing education. I adore what I do and it is truly my passion helping people feel better in their bodies. Pilates has completely changed my life and I am grateful to share it with you.
